MONTGOMERY PLAZA PHASE ONE SHOPS OPEN AT 100% OCCUPANCY
MILLEDGEVILLE, GA, May 11, 2015 – Sofran Partners opened Montgomery Plaza Phase One Shops fully leased. Montgomery Plaza is a Kroger anchored development that began construction in 2011. Kroger opened the 94k SF grocery store and 18- pump fuel center in October 2011. Sofran began construction on the 14,610 SF shop building next to Kroger last year while still negotiating with tenants; and before completion obtained commitments for 100 percent of the available space. The tenant lineup includes Biba’s Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria, Lake Center Health, Great Clips and Diva Nails.
Montgomery Plaza is a 60 acre planned retail and office development at the intersection of Highway 441 and Log Cabin Road in Milledgeville, GA. Phase One consists of the Kroger store, fuel center, two shop parcels and four out parcels. Sofran has plans for another building on the remaining shop parcel, with construction to begin in the fall of this year. Exchange Bank has purchased one of the out parcels for a future location. Sofran is marketing Phase Two to other big box retailers.

THE SOFRAN GROUP SELLS REAL ESATATE DEVELOPMENT AND SERVICES BUSINESS
ATLANTA, GA, April 01, 2013 – CBLM Partners LLC, a private partnership headed by real estate industry veteran Freddie Crenshaw, has acquired the Atlanta operations of The Sofran Group. Crenshaw was a founding Partner of The Sofran Group Georgia office; and since 1980 has led the acquisition, development and redevelopment of over five million square feet of retail properties. The new company will be headquartered in Atlanta and will do business as Sofran Partners LLC. Sofran Partners will focus on retail and mixed use development, redevelopment, management and brokerage services. Sofran has specialized in retail development across the Southeast since 1981.
NEW KROGER CONSTRUCTION
Milledgeville, GA, January 31, 2013 – The Kroger grocery store on US 441 is getting some new neighbors. Construction is expected to begin in May on a new 11,900-foot strip mall within the Kroger property. Three tenants already have signed up, according to Robby Boggs, a partner with The Sofran Group, which is the Atlanta-based company that’s overseeing the development of the property.

KROGER BREAKS GROUND AT GRIFFIN PAVILION
GRIFFIN, GA, April 25, 2012 – The Kroger Co. and Collins & Arnold have broken ground on Phase II of Griffin Pavilion, a retail development located at GA Highway 16 and GA Highway 19/41 in Griffin, which was developed by The Sofran Group.
The final phase of the project will consist of a 94K SF Kroger Grocery Store with associated surface parking and an 18- pump Kroger Fuel Center. The grocery store site will include a 20K SF future expansion area. Phase I of Griffin Pavilion was completed in 2004 and includes a Lowes Home Center and Wells Fargo bank.
The Sofran Group currently has plans to redevelop the adjacent Griffin Market Square, a 46,960 SF retail center originally built in the 1970’s. For available retail space call Roy Martin at 770-351-9300.
