The Company
The Principals of Sofran Partners average over 25 years of commercial real estate experience.
Sofran Partners was established by a group of former associates of The Sofran Group; a commercial real estate development company founded in 1980 in Montreal, Canada. In 1981, The Sofran Group opened its US headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia and in 1983, opened a satellite office in Orlando, Florida.
In 2013, the Principals of Sofran Partners acquired certain rights, assets and opportunities of The Sofran Group, originating from the Atlanta office. During their tenure with The Sofran Group, the Principals of Sofran Partners were directly involved in the development, management and leasing of over 5 million square feet of retail properties in the Southeast. The Principals of the Florida office of The Sofran Group are responsible for an additional 2.3 million square feet of retail space in Florida.
Sofran Partners is a separate and distinct entity, independent from The Sofran Group and its affiliates and there is no common ownership or control. Sofran Partners continues the legacy of The Sofran Group’s 30 plus years of successful real estate development and continues to manage, lease and represent select Sofran Group properties.

Robby Boggs, CDP
Partner – Vice President of DevelopmentSofran Partners LLC

Robby Boggs is a Partner and Vice President of Development at Sofran Partners LLC working on new developments and redevelopments. Mr. Boggs has worked at Sofran since 2006 and has served as Development Manager and Director of Design and Construction with over 20 years of commercial real estate development experience. He is a Certified Development, Design and Construction Professional (CDP) through the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and a Regional Leadership Alumni of Urban Land Institute in Atlanta. Prior to joining Sofran, Boggs worked for over ten years as a civil engineering project manager. He has been involved in the development of over fifty commercial projects totaling over ten million square feet. Boggs studied civil engineering at Georgia Tech and graduated Cum Laude from Georgia State University with a BBA in Real Estate. A native of Gulfport, MS, Robby resides in Duluth, GA with his wife and their one son.
Freddie D. Crenshaw

Freddie Crenshaw is a Partner and Vice President of Investments at Sofran Partners LLC focused on building the retail portfolio by identifying opportunities to acquire or develop properties, adding value by leading a select team of professionals engaged in development, leasing, management and finance. A real estate industry veteran, Mr. Crenshaw was a founding Partner in the Atlanta office for The Sofran Group in 1981. As Managing Partner, he led the acquisition, development and redevelopment of more than 5 million square feet of retail properties. Prior to opening the Sofran Atlanta office, he served in the Division of Capital Markets for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and in the Consumer Finance Division at Citizens & Southern (C&S) Bank. Crenshaw holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia.
Darryl S. Leal, CPA
Partner – Vice President of Finance/CFOSofran Partners LLC

Darryl Leal is a Partner and the Vice President of Finance/CFO at Sofran Partners LLC, and is responsible for the financial management and administrative functions of the firm. Mr. Leal joined Sofran Group in 1998. Since 1983, Mr. Leal has worked in the commercial real estate industry, and has held executive positions for firms in Texas and Georgia. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-Texas) since 1990, a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs, and the Louisiana Society of CPAs. Mr. Leal graduated from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Mr. Leal is a native of New Orleans, and currently splits his time between New Orleans and Atlanta. Mr. Leal is married with three children and two grandchildren.
Roy Martin IV, CLS

Roy “Bud” Martin IV is a Partner and Vice President of Leasing and Management at Sofran Partners LLC overseeing leasing, management, sales and brokerage of the company’s operating portfolio and new developments. Mr. Martin joined Sofran in 1999 as a Leasing Manager and has been responsible for leasing numerous new development projects such as Eisenhower Crossing in Macon, GA, Crossroads Pointe in Dallas, GA, Village of Mirror Lake in Villa Rica, GA and Highland Station in Smyrna, GA. In 2003, Mr. Martin was promoted to Director of Sales and Leasing overseeing outlot sales and new development leasing for the Sofran Atlanta office. He has 15 years of commercial real estate experience and is a Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS) through the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Martin earned a BS at Presbyterian College and an MBA from Georgia State University. A native of Columbus, Georgia, Bud lives in Atlanta with his wife and their two children.
